Organization of Bapepam With the enactment of Law No. 8 of 1995 concerning the Capital Market, Bapepam obtained a strong legal foundation for enforcement actions and a more important role in capital market development. In accordance with its increased powers and responsibilities, the organizational structure of Bapepam was modified by Ministry of Finance Decree No. Kep-503/KMK.01/1997 on November 7, 1997 as follows: Executive Secretary Director of the Regulation and Legal Counsel Bureau Director of the Enforcement Bureau Director of the Investment Management and Research Bureau Director of the Market Institutions and Trading Bureau Director of the Corporate Finance I Bureau Director of the Corporate Finance II Bureau Director of the Accounting Standards Bureau
