Bapepam with letter no. S-1053/PM/2000 dated May 15, 2000 approved KSEI draft rule regarding central custodial services.

Thus, KSEI has one principal rule which is an integration of current KSEI rules, i.e. rule no.1 and 2 regarding custodial services for pre-emptives rights, rule no.3 regarding KSEI working committee, rule no.4, 5, and 6 regarding collective custody services for stocks, and rule no.7 regarding collective custody services for bonds.

The new rule is needed in supporting scripless trading planned to be effective this year.
